The Bhai of Bollywood, Salman Khan will make the Hindi remake of hit Telugu film, Happy Days. According to sources, it was a suggestion for Salman by one of his friends & now he liked the idea so much that he now wants to make this film.
Basically the story of the film is about eight friends and their study in an engineering college through four years. It was directed by Sekhar Kammula, a south India based director. The film got many awards in south and greatly appreciated by the critics and the public.
Salman Khan has produced many films in Bollywood as a co-producer and the producer. His last produced film was Fugli, which has a story about 4 friends. Vijender Singh got his first appearance in Bollywood through this movie. So, now Salman wants to cast younger actor and actress for this film as the story is about the college students. It is confirmed that the Hindi version of the film will also be directed by Sekhar Kammula, the director of the original Telugu version. The production is already in a search of new faces but they don’t want to tell more than that as everything is still on the starting stage, according to a source.
