Venkatesh starrer ‘Drushyam’ first week box office collection

The Venkatesh and Meena starrer Telugu film ‘Drushyam’ released worldwide on 11th July. The film is remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Drishyam’ which also starred Meena and superstar Mohanlal. ‘Drushyam’is directed by Sripriya and has been produced by D. Suresh Babu and Rajkumar Sethupathi. The film was made on a modest budget of 6 crore and another 3-4 crore was spent on its promotion. Venkatesh did not charge any fee for the film and instead choose to acquire the satellites rights. He is all set to earn Rs. 5.5 crore from the rights. The film has opened to good critical reviews and audience response. After the one week run the film has earned a collection of 9.5 crore at the box office. The entire cost behind the film is now recovered and it has already recorded a small profit for the producers. Second day box office collection – Rs 1.45 Crore

Third day box office collection – Rs 2 Crore

Fourth day box office collection – Rs 1.5 Crore

Sixth day box office collection – Rs 1.85 Crore

Total collection figure after one week: 9.5 crore
