Though much detail has not been revealed about this good news, recent happenings indicate that the sequel is being planned. It all started with Vijay’s birthday party last week. The special occasion saw the arrival of director Gokul. But the visit was not just for wishing the actor. It is reported that the two discussed the script of an upcoming comedy film. They have decided to begin the work on this new film after they complete the projects in hand. Chances are high that this particular comedy they discussed will be a sequel to ‘IAB’. Released in October 2013, ‘Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara’ was a huge success. The other prominent roles were played by Ashwin Kakumanu, Nandita and Swati Reddy. The thoroughly entertaining comedy was deemed one of the funniest Tamil films and was loved for the splendid humor it featured.
